In Greek: “τί γάρ μοι ὑπάρχει ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ παρὰ σοῦ τί ἠθέλησα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς?
ἐξέλιπεν ἡ καρδία μου καὶ ἡ σάρξ μου ὁ θεὸς τῆς καρδίας μου καὶ ἡ μερίς μου ὁ θεὸς εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα
ὅτι ἰδοὺ οἱ μακρύνοντες ἑαυτοὺς ἀπὸ σοῦ ἀπολοῦνται ἐξωλέθρευσας πάντα τὸν πορνεύοντα ἀπὸ σοῦ
ἐμοὶ δὲ τὸ προσκολλᾶσθαι τῷ θεῷ ἀγαθόν ἐστιν τίθεσθαι ἐν τῷ κυρίῳ τὴν ἐλπίδα μου τοῦ ἐξαγγεῖλαι πάσας τὰς αἰνέσεις σου“
And in Hebrew:
25מִי־לִי בַשָּׁמָיִם וְעִמְּךָ לֹא־חָפַצְתִּי בָאָֽרֶץ׃
26כָּלָה שְׁאֵרִי וּלְבָבִי צוּר־לְבָבִי וְחֶלְקִי אֱלֹהִים לְעֹולָֽם׃
כִּֽי־הִנֵּה רְחֵקֶיךָ יֹאבֵדוּ הִצְמַתָּה כָּל־זֹונֶה מִמֶּֽךָּ׃
28וַאֲנִי קִֽרֲבַת אֱלֹהִים לִי־טֹוב שַׁתִּי בַּאדֹנָי יְהֹוִה מַחְסִי לְסַפֵּר כָּל־מַלְאֲכֹותֶֽיךָ׃
The evil ones will never prevail. The Lord will take care of them in due time.
The Psalms remind us that the Lord God sees everything, hears everything, and knows everything.
His promises are true and He is faithful to reward the faithful as well as punish the wicked.
We just have to fully trust in Him, be patient, pray, read, study, and meditate on His ✡️📖✝️Word, and be ready at all times for the Day when He will take us Home to be with Him forever. 🙏❤️🙏
