I know I usually write about my Journey and how God is leading me step by step, day by day in this current “Season of Waiting” that I’m in. But because of something that happened to me a little over a day ago pertaining to God and the validity of His Word, I must make mention of it here. It’s burning up inside of me, and usually when that sort of thing happens, I know it needs to be “said” to the masses.
First off, I’m going to say that God doesn’t necessarily need to me to “fight” His battles, when it comes to letting people know about the validity of His word, and how it’s been preserved over these thousands of years. His Word is exalted above even His Name (Psalm 138:2). But, I AM His daughter, one of many, and since my very eternal LIFE depends on His Word being TRUE and learning (some of it the hard way!) to adhere to the Bible, by reading it, studying it, and LIVING it out, I DO stand up for Him and His Word, when others try to either trash it, make fun of it, misunderstand it, twist it, or worse yet, try to put their belief’s traditions, rules, regulations, etc., ABOVE what God’s Word says(see Matthew 15:3;Mark 7:8-9, 13). The apostle Peter and the others with him said in Acts 5:29, that “we ought to obey God rather than men.” They knew full well not to take man’s traditions and put them above God and His Word.
I myself came out of a church that did exactly that; I’m not saying traditions are bad, but when they start to ursurp God and His Word, then that places that “faith” in a very dangerous position. They’re heading down the road to being an apostate, or worse yet, a false religion or cult. That is NOT where one wants to find one’s self, at the end of their days, realizing that they “did it all wrong” by following in the footsteps of Adam and Eve, who believed the lie from Satan, and allowed DOUBT of God’s word to creep in, and basically destroy all hopes of mankind having eternal communion with God, until JESUS (thank You, Lord!) stepped in (see Gen. 3:15, first Messianic prophecy), and took our place at the Cross!❤️✝️ If we call Jesus Lord and Savior of our lives, and read, study and live by the Bible, we shouldn’t let the enemy of our souls deceive us, nor the precious souls that are still lost in this world, letting them believe the lies of Satan, thinking that God and His Word are not true, and cannot be trusted. Let me explain further by going a little more into my Journey that I’ve been writing about in my blog:
During those 30 years on my “crooked path”, the Lord was still with me; I was called and chosen by Him, to “work” for Him, and use whatever gifts, talents, skills, and abilities He’s given me, for the betterment of the Kingdom, and for His glory and honor. Once I finally was taken “off the shelf”, back in December, 2016 and decided to wholeheartedly follow Him, giving Him total Reign over everything in my life, including my relationships (which was a HUGE thing for me to let go of!), THEN, and only then, did I finally <<click>> into His “Wheel”, and became a cog that has been “fitting” smoothly, going where He goes, doing whatever He wants me to do, and THAT is the main reason why I ‘ve seen and experienced so many “God Winks”—walking with FAITH in the DARK, holding His Hand, produces those “God Winks”—it’s one of God’s ways of “speaking” to me (and other believers!), letting me know that He sees and hears all that I and all other believers are doing and going through, and from time to time, sends us such “notes” of encouragment. They’ve answered many a question I’ve asked, calmed me down when I was fretting, quieted my spirit when I was afraid or starting to think He wasn’t listening, AND even strengthened me much during this whole Journey, giving me the stamina and determination to continue onward. Some of these “God Winks” are the Scriptures that I’ve seen in my daily devotionals that have “fit” exactly to the “T” hundreds of times now over the past two years, moving me forward in my FAITH walk, letting me know over and over again, just how ALIVE and active His Word is in my life, and it’s just one of the ways how God “speaks” to each one of His children that are listening to Him. I know that He’ll continue to reveal Himself more to me as the time goes on, and have the pieces of this “Journey” puzzle fit together, until this “Season of Waiting” that I’ve been in, comes to an end. Until then, as long as I continue to walk according to His Will and purpose for my life, whatever He is “weaving” for me and everyone else involved in and around my life, I WILL continue to see and experience these “God Winks”.
Trials, tribulation, and temptation are also part of the Journey; along with that, is the Spiritual Warfare portion—not my favorite part of this whole thing, that’s for sure🙄😒. I wish THAT could be left out. But, Satan hasn’t stopped stealing, killing, and destroying (John 10:10), and won’t, until the Lord Jesus throws him into the Pit for 1,000 years (Rev. 20:3), and then finally, into the Lake of Fire (Rev. 20:10). All those who never came to the Lord, and who were judged at the White Throne Judgment (Rev. 20:11), according to their WORKS (Rev. 20:12-13), will also meet their end there. Until the DAY that I am HOME with the Lord, I have to endure such Warfare; I am not the only one—EVERY single person that names the Name of Christ, if they are truly serving Him, comes under such satanic attacks. But, we have to recognize what is a spiritual attack, and not allow ourselves to be deceived into thinking it’s just people that are the enemy.
Human spirits, as stiffnecked and stubborn as they are🙄, are the ONLY ones that can be redeemed, hence the reason why the enemy of our Souls keeps making the majority of the Earth’s population think that HUMANS are the problem, their RELIGIONS and BELIEFS are the problem, their POLITICAL VIEWS are the problem, etc., when all along it’s HIM—Satan, that’s being ALLOWED to make all the confusion and confrontations that occur. Hatred, Fear, Pride, Arrogance, Dread, belief in False gods, etc., end up producing Sickness, Disease, and Death, in most of the world’s population, and it’s all because we’re sitting here, blaming each other, when HE’S been the instigator the whole time. He’s not called “the accuser of the brethren” (Rev. 20:10) for nothing. But he doesn’t just go after the believers. Those who couldn’t care less about God, the Bible, and believe nothing about the spiritual realm or the afterlife are also widely targeted by Satan.
Humans that don’t believe in the spiritual realm, are just the type of people Satan and his demons are counting on, so that he can continue to confuse and confound mankind to NOT believe in the Lord God Almighty, Who “just so happened” to be his BOSS (Lucifer was THE Worship Leader in Heaven—he was the one that was responsible for the Music—God gave him that job, and as soon as he got kicked out of Heaven, he PERVERTED all the gifts given to him, and used them all for EVIL henceforth). HE is the main reason why we have so many different religions, false gods, even “Christian” sects!! Anything and everything to point in the opposite direction of the Lord God Almighty, is what Satan has done, and we as blind men, have followed him, and some will continue, right into the Lake of Fire.
“If you can’t beat them, join them”, was a popular saying as I grew up. Well, it makes sense when it comes to what Satan and his cohorts, the demons (some of them fallen angels) have come up with, especially all the false religions, but even better still, are those “Christian” sects that are SO CLOSE to the real Biblical born-again New Life in Christ, that with just a “tweak” here and a “switch” there, some people have fallen for what SEEMS like Biblical Christianity, but in reality, they are almost as lost as the unsaved. HENCE the reason why every believer in Christ NEEDS to know the Bible, backwards and forwards! Every non-believer should NOT just “dismiss” it as hogwash, or some mystical “mumbo-jumbo”, without checking it out for themselves! Put it to the test, people! SEEK God out (Deut. 4:29; Psalm 14:2; Matt. 6:33)! Sincerely CALL out to Him, and He WILL answer you (Jer. 33:3; Psalm 18:6; 107:27-28; Psalm 34:17; Romans 10:9-13)! The LAST thing that Satan wants a human spirit to do, is to call on the VERY ONE that he used to praise and worship himself!!
Scripture says we have to be “wise as serpents and harmless as doves” (Matt. 10:16, NKJV). 1 Peter 5:8 tells us to “be sober, be vigilant, because your advesary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” Jesus told us flat out, that HE was the ONLY way, the TRUTH and the LIFE (John 14:6), and that NO man, NO religion, NO cult, NO “ism” or any other way is going to lead mankind back to the Father, but by JESUS and HIM alone. I’m going to use caps here, folks, because it’s THAT important—we’re talking your ETERNAL SOULS, here: IF IT DOESN’T POINT BACK TO JESUS BEING THE LORD AND SAVIOR OF YOUR LIFE; IF HE ISN’T BEING CALLED “THE SECOND PERSON OF THE GODHEAD” (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit); IF HE ISN’T BEING RECOGNIZED AS “THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD” (Colossians 1:15), and that after you TESTED THE SPIRITS (1 John 4:1-3), to see whether or not that particular “faith” you want to get into, is the REAL THING, and they tell you in one way or another, that Jesus is a good or great man, or Prophet, or even goes as far as to say that He is the Son of God, but a LESSER god😳🚩, or that the god they serve never HAD a Son, or spoke about Him, or TO Him (Genesis 1:26; 11:7; Psalm 2:7, 12; Mark 1:11; Luke 3:22)—or that He was only a spirit creature, and was never really fully human AND divine at the same time (God in human form = Immanuel = “God with us”) as it is written in Isaiah 7:14; Matt. 1:23; Zeph. 3:17; Matthew 28:20; John 1:14; 14:9,16-17, THEN you may be getting into something that has nothing to do with the real God of the Bible, or His Son, Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit, Who is the Comforter, Counselor, and Who dwells in each and every believer (see John chap. 14-16 about the Holy Spirit’s role in our lives!)!
Satan will do whatever it takes, to make God look like the liar, and not him! Messing around with God’s Word is a very serious offense. The Lord God had it written in Deut. 4:2, Proverbs 30:5-6, and Revelation 22:18-19, commanding us to not add to, nor delete from His Word. He has been able to protect His Sovereign Word from every enemy that has tried to eradicate it one way or another. He will NEVER let that happen; it is written in Isaiah 40:8, “The grass withers; the flower fades, but the Word of our God stands FOREVER.” Matthew 24:35 also states (Jesus Himself speaking), “Heaven and Earth may pass away, but My words will not pass away.”(ESV) God has protected His word throughout the thousands of years; He wants us to get to KNOW HIM and His Son, Jesus, by reading, studying, PRAYING, calling out to Him, and living out His Word in our daily lives, just as I am doing in my FAITH walk. We need to learn to TRUST GOD more than man; Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should repent: has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?” (AKVJ) Satan has done an “excellent” job unfortunately, duping most of us at one point or another (even believers!), to NOT take God’s word so seriously. That’s a HUGE “nail in the coffin” for him if one not only starts to BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ, but then TAKES GOD AT HIS WORD—that kills Satan “on the spot”!
Trusting IN God, OBEYING Him, learning to lean on Him, humbling ourselves before Him, meditating on His Word, getting to know Him better, and seeing supernatural Holy Spirit-inspired “God Winks”, or whatever you the reader may want to call them when God answers your prayers—all these things I have been doing faithfully for the past two plus years, and NOT ONCE has He failed me!! NOT ONCE have I gone hungry, or had any other needs not met. Once a person (like myself) hands their ENTIRE LIVES over to the Lord God, and starts to serve HIM, it can only BE a “win-win” situation! Oh, the trials, tribulations temptations, and occasional bouts of Spiritual Warfare will be there—it goes with the “territory”. But God has given us His Word to learn more about Him, and gain wisdom, knowledge, and understanding; also for us to grow, mature and use to fight the evil in this world with—“All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be COMPLETE, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We ARE overcomers of evil when we have God on our side!!
God has also given us this Word so we can live out our PURPOSE here on Earth, and find out what God’s WILL is for our lives. He has SOVEREIGNLY made a plan for each one of us (Jeremiah 29:11); but it is up to US to find out what that plan is. The only way we’re going to find out, is if we CALL upon the Name of the Lord, and ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK (Matt.7:7).
Do NOT allow that spirit of DOUBT that got to Adam and Eve(Genesis 3:1), get to you! Satan is a LIAR, and the father of lies(Jonn 8:44)! LIVE OUT the Purpose that God Pre-destined for you! You are PRECIOUS in His sight (Isaiah 43:4)! Your life COUNTS to Him; learn to be a blessing to others, and give God all the honor and glory due His Name. Be blessed. ❤️✝️
