Recognize This Season For What It Is

All that is happening, NEEDS to happen.
Please read not only this, but what is also written in the picture post, and look up the Scriptures for further understanding.
If you shut God out, it will be an eternal consequence that cannot be reversed.
You have questions—well, the Lord has the answers-many of them. He does not tell us everything, but enough to get us to recognize the “season” of the times.
And from being with Him all these decades, I can assure you from what I am seeing and hearing (mind you, I do not post most of the ugly vile events I see happening-FB and IG would black them out anyway), it is VERY NEAR “that time”. Here is another verse the Spirit is leading me to tell you:
“From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near.
So also, WHEN YOU SEE ALL THESE THINGS, you will know that HE is NEAR, right at the door” (Matthew 24:32-33).
Do you have eyes to see, and ears to hear? Then see and hear what is really going on. Go to the Lord Jesus, and tell Him you are scared. He already knows it; He just wants YOU to humbly come to HIM, and He WILL get you, and I, and all the others who have heeded His Word, through this, in the way He wills it to be.
He is waiting for you—for all of us—to trust in Him, and allow Him to do what needs to be done, in order to finally One Day, rid this world of its evil.
The evil one is, OUT OF SPITE, taking as many humans with him and the other evil spirits, into Hell and the Lake of Fire as he can.
He knows his “time” is very short. BUT, even he is only allowed to do what the Lord allows.
For those who still do not understand—
Satan and the demons, evil spirits, etc. are NOT in Hell. There are only certain ones either in the Pit, or, they are chained up in Tartarus. Satan (for reasons only 🙄God Himself knows) and the other evil spirits have been “allowed” to roam about, “seeking whom he may devour”(1 Peter 5:8).
BUT, as verse 9 says, we are to “Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood(body of Christ) throughout the world.”

TRUST in the Lord, beloved.🙏🏼✝️

Remember To Allow JESUS To Be Your JOY

I felt the sense of the Spirit to gather some Scriptures together about JOY, because there is so much pain and suffering in the world now, and unfortunately, it is only going to get worse.

But that is why the LORD God gave us His SON, Jesus Christ—for He IS THE WORD OF GOD. And when we spend time IN His Word, we ARE spending time with Jesus.

The Word of God is like a balm unto a wound. Let these Scripture verses remind you that “Though you have not SEEN Him, you love Him. Though you do not NOW see Him, you believe in Him and rejoice with JOY that is inexpressible and filled with glory.” 1 Peter 8-9

I pray that these verses remind you of the JOY that comes from knowing Christ as our Savior and Lord.

If you do not have the Lord Jesus in your life as yet, and desire to experience true JOY and PEACE amidst the ever worsening evils in this world, allow Him to come into your life. Invite Him in, so that He CAN show you what He has shown the rest of us—how to have PEACE, LOVE, and JOY in the midst of such trials and tribulations.

If you put your FAITH and TRUST in Him and His Word, I GUARANTEE from all that is written, that you WILL have true JOY that will overflow in your heart; only though, by having the Holy Spirit dwell IN you, and that happens by a total wholehearted surrender of yourself, to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Trust God to allow the Holy Spirit to “instruct thee and teach thee in the way which you should go” (Ps. 32:8). He’ll take care of the rest.

“Likewise, I say unto you, there is JOY in the presence of the Angels of God over ONE sinner that repenteth.” Luke 15:10

“These things have I spoken unto you, that my JOY might remain in you, and [that] your JOY might be full.” Jn. 15:11

“And ye now therefor have sorrow: But I WILL see you again, and your heart SHALL rejoice, and your JOY no man shall taketh from you.”
Jn. 16:22

“Now the God of HOPE fill you with all JOY and PEACE in believing, that ye may abound in HOPE, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” Rom. 15:13

“But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding JOY.” 1 Peter 4:13

The Passover Lamb Who Now is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah

Today is a day celebrated by many in the Judeo-Christian world. For many of our Jewish brethren, it is Erev Pesach, the start of the Feasts of Passover and Unleavened Bread-Hag Hamatzot.
Did you know that they are two separate feasts?🙂 The Feast of Unleavened Bread starts a day after Pesach, or Passover, which technically is only one day.

For the next seven days I will eat but matzoh for my bread, as a reminder to myself of what the Israelites went through when they had to leave in such a hurry to escape from Egypt (see Ex. 12:39).

When I had a family to celebrate with, I made the entire Passover meal—it was fun to take part in it with my daughter back then.
Now, not so much, being a solitary, but I look forward to the Day when I do get to share that 4th cup of Hallel-the Cup of Praise, with our Messiah and King Yeshua/Jesus, at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb(see Rev. 19:6-9).

Jesus mentioned it to the disciples while celebrating that last Passover meal He had with them (see Matthew 26:29). He told them He would not drink of that last cup (there are four cups of wine in the Passover ritual meal), until He could drink it all with them, and us, in the Kingdom.

I wait for That Day.

Today is not only the start of these feasts, but also what we Christians call Good Friday, the day that the Lord Jesus took His cross up to Golgotha—the place of the skull—and sacrificed His life for the whole of mankind, in order to make a way back to the Father, by taking ALL of our sins, and placing them on Himself.
Isaiah 53 speaks of the prophecy of the Passover Lamb, esp verses 3-5.

Unfortunately, it seems like the whole world, except for a remnant that the LORD Himself mentioned in Scripture many times (see Micah 5:7-8), have done exactly what verse 6 in Isaiah 53:6 states: “All we like sheep have gone astray: we have turned every one to his OWN way; and the LORD hath laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all.”

Today, as you go about the day, just reflect on what the LORD God allowed His Son Jesus, to do for us. Think of the sacrifice that He made on that day—by getting flogged until flesh was torn from Him, and then, walked with His cross, and died a most horrific death by crucifixion.

He did all that for us wretched sinners, who Isaiah himself said in 64:6, “And we are all become as one unclean, and all of our justices as the rag of a menstruous woman(the Douay-Rheims translation spells it out for us!!): and we have all fallen as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

Did we deserve it? No. We should have been the ones to die upon that cross, not Him. It was a selfless act of love-eternal love, that the Triune God has for His creation, who unfortunately, barely recognize Him anymore as their Creator.

Some of you may not believe in the Messiah. Some may not care at all about Him, or what He did.
One Day, although it will be too late then to accept Him once you stand before Him in Judgment, you will finally know Who He is.

But for many, unfortunately, the Lord Jesus will become their Judge, Whom the Father assigned Him to be as such, for all of mankind (see John 5:22).

I would much rather see you all, accepting the Lord Jesus, as your Messiah and King, Lord and Savior, than your Judge (Ps. 50:6; Is. 33:22; Daniel 7:9-10; Rev. 20:11-15).

There is much left to happen in this world; many more prophecies have yet to be fulfilled. Passages in Daniel and Revelation, for example, still need to come to pass. But no matter what man or demon try to do to stop Him, the entirety of His Word will be fulfilled.

And I fear, not for myself, nor for any of my brothers and sisters who have accepted the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit into their lives—but for those of you who have yet to acknowledge Jesus as the Passover Lamb, who came to take away the sins of the world (Jn. 1:29; 1 Jn. 3:5).

For those of you who have yet wanted to realize that what Scripture says about Him-“For Christ our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed” (1 Cor. 5:7).
For the majority of mankind that would rather looks to false gods (demons) and other false teachers, than accept the Lamb who has NOW become the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (see Genesis 49:8-12; Hebrews 7:14-16, Revelation 5:5).

The Lord Jesus WILL return one day, just as He said He would, just as the Scriptures prophesied as well.
After all, He Himself IS the Word of God (Jn. 1:1-3). “The WORD was MADE FLESH and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

I pray, beloved, that on these feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, Good Friday, and Resurrection Sunday (Easter), will be the time that those of you who have yet to accept the Lord Jesus as Messiah, finally do go to Him, humble yourselves, and pray to have Him in your lives as Lord, Savior, Master, and King.

One last passage: “And I (John) saw Heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat on upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns (2 Tim. 4:8; Rev. 4:10); and He had a Name written, that no man knew, but He Himself.
And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His Name was called the WORD OF GOD” (Revelation 19:11-13)

We are NOT of the Same Mind, for we refuse to have the One and the same Spirit to Rule over us

This is a very challenging verse.
That is, a very challenging verse to many in the Body of Christ.
To many in the Body of Christ who, as many times as they have read it, neither truly understand nor adhere to what the Apostle Paul was saying here.

As a matter of fact, most of the time, they do the exact opposite.
They help the devil along by creating MORE divisions in the Body of Christ, and acting like their sect of Christianity is better than anyone else’s.

They act like schoolchildren on the playground, not allowing some to join their games because of how the others look, talk, sound, and act.
Granted, it is one thing to “test the spirits”(1Jn. 4:1-3) and a Berean (Acts 17:11), but it is entirely another thing to tear a true brother or sister in the Lord up with ugly words just because they are “different”.

The Lord loves variety, and yes, He loves UNITY among the brethren when they truly are worshipping the One and the Same Jesus—that is a must.

The early Church “got” it; those in the time of the birth of the Church (Acts) realized what was needed to be done in order to have and keep that unity while also adhering to the Word.
What happened since then?
What happened to the Body of Christ?

Satan saw that there were murmurings and divisions started, and so he took the opportunity to WIDEN the division, and voila—here we are TODAY, in the 21st century, with splits in the Church by the tens of thousands! Disgusting.

But we cannot blame it all on Satan—it is the CHURCH’S fault for not seeing what WE allowed the enemy to do, and correct it.

Bottom line— if this is not corrected by the time the Lord Jesus returns, churches of God (and I use that term loosely) who say they are in the Body of Christ—be warned once again, you WILL answer to Him as to WHY we are no longer “in one accord”.

That IS what Jesus prayed for, after all, in John 17:21, “that they all may be ONE, as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee…that the world may believe that Thou hast sent Me.”

The Holy Spirit’s guidance, teaching, leading, correction, etc. is obviously MISSING from all of this, hence the reason why for the most part, the Body of Christ has been divided as such. Why would we as the Body of Christ, the Church, be so stubborn and stiff-necked to the Very One Who Christ Himself sent and said we were to listen to, be led by and learn from (Jn. 16:13)? How can we call ourselves then, sons of the Most High God, if we refuse to be led by Him(Rom. 8:14)?

Hmmm…maybe that IS the very reason WHY the world has a problem believing in Jesus—because they no longer see the UNITY in the Body of Christ.
Something to think and pray fervently about, beloved.

Desire to Know the Lord God

As much as our hearts may hurt,
As much pain and sorrow for all that has transpired over all the years,
As many times we may have failed in this life, and think He may walk away from this ungodly generation of humans that has ever walked the Earth, know this—
The Triune Godhead does not and has not given up on His Creation, though His Creation has shunned Him.

He began this whole Time and Universe with one goal in mind—to have a relationship with His Creation. It failed with the Angels, and then it failed with us humans. WE failed, not Him.

But God knew our shortcomings, even before they happened.
He planned a solution before a problem even existed.

How did He know? He is God, and He is the only one that is perfect, so He knew His Creation would not be.

YET, He wanted a relationship with us so much, He was willing to put up with us ignoring Him, rejecting Him, even hating Him.

He went to the point of even DYING for us, just to make sure there was a way back to Him, in case we changed our hearts and minds about Him.

He truly IS The One Holy Eternal Living God, El Elyon, the Most High God, Who, if we allow Him to be,
IS our SALVATION, Redeemer, Deliverer, and our strength and portion for ever.

Call upon the Triune Godhead for help. Cry out to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—He will hear the cries of those who sincerely desire to know Him.

Call upon His Name-the Name above all names—JESUS; He is waiting to hear from you. He is holding out His right Hand right now for you to take it. Go to Him, now, while you still have time. He longs to hear from you.

THY WORD IS TRUTH. Period.

Because that truly, is all you need to know and remember—HIS Word IS truth. HE IS the Truth (Jn. 14:6). And the the Lord Jesus asked the Father to “sanctify” = set apart” us through His truth.

When we allow that “setting apart” to happen by being one in the Spirit with the Lord Jesus and the Father, we learn to live holy lives we never thought possible before, and only because His righteousness is being allowed to work in us (Titus 3:5).

If we have the truth of God’s Word living and being acted out in our every day lives through faith, hope, humility, obedience, love and trust in Him, we are in an excellent place.

Keep trusting in Him and His Word, for He is forever faithful, and He WILL finish all He started here, for He Himself said it (Isaiah 55:10-11).

Is Anything Too Hard for the LORD?

Did not the Triune Godhead say He created the Heavens and the Earth(Gen. 1:1-31)?

Did He not repeat that again, that He made the Earth and created man upon it(Isaiah 42:12)?

In fact, were not ALL things created by the Eternal Triune Godhead, that is in Heaven, on Earth, and even those things which are INVISIBLE to the human eye (for now)(Col. 1:16)?

If the GOD Who created the vast universe that we see just a tiny portion of it at night, that the heavens itself, declare His glory (Ps. 19:1),

HE Who sits on the circle of the Earth (Is. 40:22), and HE Who is the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person (Heb. 1:3),

And Who put everything not only into order (1 Cor. 14:33), but lined it all up and measured it all out perfectly (Isaiah 40:12);

And Who also created the very human body and all that is associated with it (think of the DNA for a while—that itself will blow your mind),

Do you not think that He cannot take care of all that is going on in our world today? Do you honestly believe that He has forgotten us, as many have been crying and complaining about?

He has NOT forgotten about you, inhabitants of the Earth that He has called by name (Isaiah 44:21; 43:1)!

HE knows who are His (2 Tim. 2:19; Jn. 10:14).

Remember what His Word says; BELIEVE it and MEDITATE upon it—

“For the LORD will not reject His people; He will never forsake His inheritance” (Ps. 94:14).
“For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not His saints; they are preserved for ever:
But the seed of the wicked SHALL BE CUT OFF” (Ps. 37:28).

Remember what the Lord Jesus said— “Have faith in God”(Mk. 11:22); He knows the Day and the Hour (Matt. 24:36) He needs to return.

We just have to be willing to wait patiently and be ready for His return, and do not give up, grow weary, or lose faith (Luke 18:1; Gal. 6:9).

“…Yes, I am coming soon…” (Rev. 22:20).

NOTHING is too hard for Him.
NOTHING and NO ONE can stop what God has ordained (Is. 14:27).
“Even from Eternity I AM He; And there is none who can deliver out of My Hand; I act and who can reverse it (Is. 43:13)?”

Be That Person—Choose the Lord Jesus, and Choose Eternal LIFE.

If you are wondering whether you are among the CALLED, but not the CHOSEN, that is a good thing.

Most likely, then, you ARE among the CHOSEN. One who does not care either way would obviously not be in either camp.

But God knows who He has called, and who DESIRED to be among the CHOSEN.

Like the parable of the King who invited his guests to the wedding feast for his son(Mt. 22:2-13), so the Lord God bids us to come to Him now through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Many have been called to this wedding feast, which WILL take place (Revelation 19:9) in the near future; but unfortunately, most of Earth’s population either have disregarded (unbelief) or no longer believe (disbelief) that the Lord God exists or cares about them.

That is a boldface LIE from Satan and the demons themselves. The ones that promote that on this Earth, are the ones that follow the evil one, whether by choice or force. Either way, they will be bound “with hand and foot…cast into outer darkness; where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth”(Mt. 22:13).

Do NOT “go with the flow” of the crowd of sheep over the cliff into that “outer darkness” that only leads to destruction. THINK for yourselves, beloved!! YOU are responsible for YOU at the End of Days!! YOU and only YOU will be standing in front of the Lord Jesus Christ, either at the Judgment Seat (2 Cor. 5:10) as a son/daughter of God, or at the White Throne (Rev. 20:11-15) along with all the other unbelievers.

If your name is NOT in that Book of life (Phil. 4:3; Rev. 3:5, 13:8; 17:8; 20: 12,15; 21:27; 22:19), you will have NO PART in the Eternal life to come. That will have been YOUR choice, not God’s to make, so do not dare to speak lies and say it is GOD who puts His creation in everlasting Hellfire—it is US humans who CHOOSE that for ourselves.

Want proof? Here it is, and I end with this; this is from Moses, who soon went Home to the Lord after speaking these words to the children of Israel, informing and warning them one last time:

“I call Heaven and Earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you LIFE and death, blessing and cursing: therefore CHOOSE LIFE, that both you and your seed may LIVE” (Deut.30:19).

The Chosen TV Series—How Obedience And Surrendering To God Is Making It All Happen For Our Benefit, And His Glory

I want to start by saying that there have been happily, a plethora of articles and video interviews recently of The Chosen TV series based on the Gospels. It was live streamed on You Tube by Creator and Director Dallas Jenkins, to first get the message out about the series, launching it just prior to the Passover and Easter season. It was perfect that we were all “shut in”, due to the start of the pandemic. God had this all planned out swimmingly to make it happen, and providentially gave Dallas the “idea” to stream it live for everyone.

I also wanted to take a bit of a different approach on the series, from the perspective of the journey the Lord has had me on, and what I recently found out from the testimonies of Dallas Jenkins and Jonathan Roumie, the actor that portrays Jesus in the hit series. Two words kept coming up and matching what I have been going through, and I suspect, many others out there, that God is presently working on in their individual lives—obedience and surrender. I feel like it was those two words that made this series possible, and I know it is making all the changes in my life for the better. Here is a bit of my testimony so far, and also what I have learned about Dallas and Jonathan as well.

It was a little over a year into my Faith walk Journey with the Lord when I felt the burden to pray for something that would stir the hearts of the people. I was getting introduced to many sermons, songs, and books on obedience, walking by faith and not by sight, etc. They were definitely doing a work in me, and I was sensing more and more that surrendering all to the Lord back in December, 2016 was the right thing to do. I was “getting used to different”, meaning it was no longer my will, but God’s will and His way. It was scary at first, but after hearing the Holy Spirit lovingly tell me back then that I was “half-heartedly” serving Him for all those years up to that point, I cried until my chest hurt with a pain I have never felt before.

I thought I was serving Him, but as He explained what His plan and purpose was for my life—the gifts He instilled in me that were there, like singing, being a musician, and writing, but not being used; the relationship issues that continually went on because I didn’t trust Him enough to choose “that man” for me; not tithing as I should have been when I actually had a paycheck TO tithe. He wanted me to surrender it ALL that night in December , and I finally gave in. I said, “Yes, take it all, do what You want with me; You know best, and I’m sorry for not trusting You beforehand. I trusted You with my very soul for salvation—how could I not have trusted you for a spouse, my future, my finances, etc.?” I finally let go, and let Him lead me. He then said, “Good; I can finally take you off the shelf, and begin to use you again. We’re picking up where we left off.” There was a difference of 30+ years there, nevertheless, He was ready to re-start my life as I waited on Him, and still am, for all those things near and dear to my heart.

This quote from the series has been part of my life…now you can purchase this shirt from The Chosen Merch store!

My life has not been the same; I’ve been living step-by-step, day-by-day as HE has willed for me to live a life of total surrendered faith. He has been faithful 100 percent of the time in all that I’ve needed. I’ve had all my necessary bills paid, food on the table and clothes on my back, and then some! You can read more about me if you’d like in my other blog posts, but this particular post is not about just where my faith walk is taking me ever since I surrendered myself over to the Lord; He still has my destiny “under construction”. I’m still in the “before” stage. Let’s concentrate now on what the “after” stage looks like when a person does surrender everything over, walks in obedience, and then finally gets to see the manifestation of that, when they allowed God to do what seemed impossible to them, but was possible for Him.

Going back to all the resources I had working for me to bring my relationship closer to the Lord, I wanted to pray for something to capture the hearts of millions, and turn them over to Christ. I remember the faces of the people in the theaters AFTER seeing “The Passion of the Christ”—they were NOT the same people when they left the theatre that day. Remembering that event, that’s what I wanted to see on a much bigger scale— something that was going to make such an impact that lives would not just be emotionally moved for a while, and then life would go back to normal. It had to be a total life transformation, but what could God do that people would relate to, that will MAKE them want to know Jesus, come to a saving knowledge of Him, pick their Bibles and actually read them? How was God going to pull this off in the 21st century, when this world seemingly couldn’t care less about the very Savior who made it??

Notable quotes from various episodes of The Chosen TV series

Enter The Chosen TV series, that Creator and Director Dallas Jenkins had on his heart to do, once he surrendered everything over to the Lord when a movie (“The Resurrection of Gavin Stone”) that he thought was going to make it big in the theaters, flopped, back in 2017. He thought for sure that God was going to open up doors for him with that, but what God ended up doing to Dallas, sounded the same as what I went through and someone else from The Chosen—He brought him to the point of surrender. Dallas had to lay it all down at the Lord’s feet, and allow Him to do whatever He saw fit, no matter what the outcome was going to be. Dallas and his wife Amanda knew that giving it all to God was what needed to be done, and whatever direction He led them in, was the one path they needed to take.

I’ll let you read or watch about Dallas’ testimony on just how The Chosen came to be born and then fruition. But what I want to stress here is that it happened BECAUSE Dallas surrendered all he had, and allowed the Lord to make the decisions, and put him on the path he needed to walk, in order to make The Chosen what it is today. What God wanted Dallas and Amanda to do, is trust in Him, let HIM “feed the 5,000” and just concentrate on bringing the “loaves and the fish”. It was going to take a whole lot of faith, and at this point in Dallas’ career, a huge miracle, but God was faithful and was about to deliver such a thing unto him.

Within the next several months, Dallas made a short film around Christmas time intended only for his church called “The Shepherd”. He didn’t know it at the time, but that was the “birth” of what was to become the pilot of The Chosen series today. The money that was raised and invested into the series has become the biggest crowd-funded project ever, breaking every record out there. But remember, if Dallas did NOT surrender everything over to God, this may not have had the impact it is had on millions of people by this point. He learned how the Lord was excellent at doing “impossible math” and has now experienced how He has multiplied that many times over.

Another story of surrender that I want to include here, is about the actor who portrays Jesus, Jonathan Roumie. Jonathan has been an experienced actor, director, producer, voice over artist, and a pretty darn good drummer, if you ask me. Again, I’m not going to go into every detail—you can also watch You Tube videos and read many wonderful articles about him online. What I want to concentrate on is how the Lord was also getting Jonathan to the point of surrender in his life, because as you can see by the obvious pattern here in this blog’s story, the Lord was busy putting certain pieces of The Chosen “puzzle” together, and Jonathan was going to be one of them.

Jonathan Roumie as Jesus

Jonathan worked already with Dallas back in 2014 in the role of Jesus in “The Two Thieves”, and also worked on a couple other minor projects with him. In the meantime, Jonathan was getting work here and there in Hollywood, and his spiritual life, albeit good with the Lord, was going to also go under some major “faith construction”. The Lord was bringing Jonathan to that ultimate point of surrender, just around the time Dallas was starting to have things fall into place with his ideas for the tv series, after his Christmas film went viral.

Now up to this point, Jonathan has had a few of what I’ve learn to call, “God Winks” himself. The picture of the Orthodox Icon of the Divine Mercy that “just so happened” to show up at his door one day back in 2003, after he thought to himself if such a thing even existed, he would like to have one. Right there that made Jonathan realize that God was listening to him. Years later, just as the Lord was bringing Dallas to a giant leap of faith where he needed to be to start this Chosen TV series project, around May of 2018, Jonathan’s faith was being tested like never before, and the Lord brought him to the end of himself, where surrender was the only option if he wanted to stay within the Father’s will for his life. His career, finances, etc. was in the balance. As Jonathan was doing all that he could do in his own strength, he started asking God if this was where He wanted him to be. If it was, then fine; if not, to show and tell Jonathan exactly what He wanted him to do. Silence was the answer for a while, and that didn’t sit well with him.

Right when Jonathan was at his most desperate point—not being able to pay bills, no doors of work opportunities opening up, etc., he finally told the Lord one day that he was handing it all over to Him, and that He couldn’t do any more than he already has, and surrendering it all over to God seemed like the only right thing to do. Sounds familiar, huh? Check out episode four and see what Simon goes through and how the Lord brings him to his point of surrender and obedience.

From Episode Four—“The Rock on Which It’s Built”—with Jonathan Roumie (Jesus), Shahar Isaac (Simon), and Noah James (Andrew).

That very day, Jonathan received a few checks in the mail, which ended up paying for all those bills that he was unable to pay. That was not just a coincidence, Jonathan realized—it was the answer to the prayer of surrender he made to God. That was what the Lord was waiting for all along—for Jonathan to allow HIM to make the decisions in his life. It was a few months later, when Jonathan heard from Dallas about The Chosen series project and how he wanted him to play the part of Jesus. The rest is history, and Jonathan’s faith has increased exponentially in the last couple of years because of surrendering all to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Elizabeth Tabish, who plays Mary Magdalene

What I want you to glean from this blog article, is how a person, who already has a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, is brought to the end of themselves, even though they have been believers most of their lives. But God has a purpose and a plan for all of us, and He wants us to have the best, and be the best for Him, and His glory. That way, many others are brought into the Kingdom of God through the sacrifice of obedience and surrender to Him. It really is a win-win situation when you think about it. People get saved, come to a relationship with the Lord Jesus, the Family of God gets even larger, and spans across the world, even into the doctrinal differences that the enemy has tried so hard to divide us by. But God sovereignly wins in the end; His will be done, even if some don’t totally surrender to Him. Thankfully, I’ve learned my lesson, albeit the hard way, and Dallas and Jonathan are now not only more fully aware of the individual purposes God has ordained for their lives, but they are also a part of the first-ever and greatest Bible TV series, that’s 100% crowd funded. Only God can pull that off. I myself am but a tiny part of it all—an avid lover and watcher of the series, and now an admin on The Chosen Prayer Warriors page, and that was also all God’s doing and within His perfect timing. I am so grateful to be along for this awesome adventure!

Dallas Jenkins, Creator and Director of The Chosen TV Series

I pray that you were blessed by reading all the testimonies. I’m sure there are more than just these, and as God continues to do a work with the series, there will be plenty more from Him! May God bless all who are involved in The Chosen series, and may we continue to surrender our lives over to the Lord God, and see how much more He will do when a person gives their lives wholeheartedly over to Him. Be blessed.
