How The LORD God Uses An Amazing TV Series to Bring People to His Son’s Wedding Banquet

Shalom and boker tov (good morning)everyone! I HOPE you all were able to watch Episode 8 last night!! If you haven’t, and/or have not kept up with The Chosen for Season 3–OH MY GOSH—what are you WAITING for?

It was amazing! Seriously, I always loved S1E4–that was my “all time” favorite episode, and right behind that was S1E7-Jesus and Nicodemus. Of course, as the seasons continued, it was getting harder and harder to pick favorites; every season built upon the previous, and this one, in ONE word can be describe as “INTENSE”.

There were so many things going on at one time, and many of us can relate to at least one issue within S3’s episodes. But E8–that moved into FIRST PLACE position for me! I won’t say much more, in case you have not yet seen it-or any of them, for that matter.

Some people, I understand, don’t like TV shows or movies that are not “word for word” right out of the Bible. That is okay. BUT—even John the Apostle told us at the end of his Gospel, that “There are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written” (Jn. 21:25).

There were MANY things, many situations, many “human” emotions from the disciples themselves, their families, friends, etc., that very likely went from low to high, to everything in between. They did NOT all get along all the time-that we SEE for ourselves in the Scriptures! LIFE was still going on for these people as they served the Lord Jesus during those three and a half years He ministered in the public eye. Dallas Jenkins and the other writers have done a most excellent job of character development, writing a lot of very believable “what if’s” into the scripts, showing us how 1st century people were living, what they were dealing with-especially the Jewish people. They WERE and ARE STILL, God’s people!

All I will say of the last two episodes (7-8)—what an EXCELLENT example of the Body of Christ arguing with each other over petty things that in the eyes of the Lord Jesus, did not matter! Now, those people were yet to be believers, but as I first watched those scenes with the Jews, Greeks, Phonecians, etc., the immediate word that came into my spirit FROM the Spirit was, “this is the BODY of Christ today”🙄😞🙁. All too true. We definitely need to come together and UNITE as ONE as the Lord Jesus prayed to the Father about 📖in John 17.

Many testimonies from viewers from all over the world have possibly for the first time were not only able to finally see a very real side of the Lord Jesus in His humanity being portrayed by Jonathan Roumie, but how all who were with him, both family, friend, and foe, also possibly reacted when Jesus did (or did not do, in the case of Simon and Eden via the TV show) his miracles, or preached to the masses.

My prayers from 2018 were definitely answered when I came upon The Chosen for the first time in April, 2020. Finally, there was a TV show dedicated to Christ and His followers and their family members, showing just what could have happened during that time, when THEY were called to serve Him. It wasn’t easy then, nor is it any easier now. In fact, we know as per 📖Scripture it IS going to get worse! But we are getting amazing “what if” illustrations of how it very well could have been for them all back then, WITH many obvious 📖Scripture references wrapped around those very possible scenarios that Dallas and the writers chose to address to the viewers.

I thank God my Father for answering that prayer of mine (and so many others!) to make a show like The Chosen. It has drawn people BACK to their 📖Bibles, and more importantly, to their knees, having them look up and pray, repent, and ask the LORD God for forgiveness, and accept the Lord Jesus into their lives, finally having the 🕊Holy Spirit dwell within them. THAT, my family in Christ, IS the main reason why Abba said, “YES” to that prayer. He saw how many people that would come to Him via this series. It does not have to be perfect; it has been created by imperfect people, with imperfect writers, producers, cast and crew. And, every single viewer is also imperfect!

BUT, a PERFECT God oversees it all, to ensure that people ARE coming to Christ and His Word through it; and THAT is the miracle that keeps on happening every episode and in every season that has been made so far. Baruch HaShem for His chesed-lovingkindness!

May the LORD God keep blessing The Chosen, and using it to bring more people to His Marriage Supper of the Lamb (Rev. 19:9)—that table WILL be filled, with people from every tribe, tongue, and nation, and we ALL will be able to cast down our crowns before Him (Rev. 4:10), Who is worthy to receive glory, and honor, and power (Rev. 4:11), because He has called EVERYONE to His Table. 🙏🏼✡️📖✝️✨

Seek Forgiveness From the One Who Freely is Willing to Forgive

To know that there IS a way to be forgiven and cleansed of all those wrongdoings, iniquities, faults;
To know that there IS a Person out there that will continue to love you, no matter how many mistakes you may have made in the past;

To recognize AND account for your sins and faults, whether they were ignorantly done or on purpose;
To be FORGIVEN by not only them, but more importantly, the One to whom all Judgment of Mankind belongs;

And to be BLESSED to know that not only is reconciliation possible with Him, but to then be able to spend ETERNITY with Him, having complete PEACE and JOY in your heart, knowing someone loved you enough to forgive you.

How can one not take the Lord up on that Promise of His? Even though others may not want to forgive you,
HE WILL.
His LOVE endures FOREVER.

He Hears All, Sees All, KNOWS All—Both Good and Evil, and Will JUDGE ALL

Artist unknown

“The LORD looks down from Heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God” (Ps. 14:2).

Pray for every inhabitant on the face of the Earth, that they may take a knee NOW, while they still have breath in their lungs, and acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, Lord, King, and Master, before it is too late (Phil. 2:9-11).

If anyone has cried over the sins and evils that both mankind and demon have done, it is the LORD God, and His Son. The Holy Spirit has grieved like no other, to see this world decline and become like those evil creatures chained in Tartarus, awaiting their Day of Judgment (2 Pet. 2:4-10; Jude 1:6-7).

But until That Day arrives;
Until the Lord finishes what He has started so long ago,
EVERY person who still has breath in them,
STILL has an opportunity to
REPENT, and ask Him for forgiveness.
He will gladly give it to all those who cry out to Him (Ps. 18:6; 34:6,17).

For those who refuse,
There is a place where they will go for all eternity;
It was NEVER meant for mankind, but only for Satan and all those angelic spirits who rebelled against their Master so long ago (Is. 66:22-24; Dan. 12:1-2; Matt. 25:31-46; 2 Thess. 1:5-10; Rev. 14:9-11; 20:11-15).

The LORD is Just. He must punish the wicked ones of mankind along with those angelic creatures.

That Day is coming…SOON.
NO ONE knows that Day or Hour, but the Father Himself (Matt. 24:36).

Will YOU be ready when He calls His children HOME to Himself?
Will YOU escape the Time of His Wrath upon the Earth that is yet to come (Ps. 110:5; Is. 13:6; Jer. 30:7; Joel 2:11; Rev. 6:17)?

The only person that can answer that question, and will be held RESPONSIBLE for what happens to their ETERNAL state,
Is YOU.

Cry out to the LORD now; SEEK His Face; CALL upon His name.
HE WILL ANSWER YOU (Jer. 33:3; Ps. 17:6; Ps. 20:6; Zech. 10:6; Is. 30:19).

“Answer me quickly, O LORD; my spirit fails. Do not hide Your face from me, or I will be like those who descend into the Pit” (Ps. 143:7).

Do not wait for “tomorrow”; there might not be one.

It Will take Extreme Measures to Save Many from Their Extremely Sinful Ways!

This is what I heard while praying and speaking to the Father this morning about all that is going on; about all those who, especially even my own loved ones, who no longer even speak to me.
Their hearts have hardened because they have let the fiery darts (Eph. 6:16) of the evil one take over their minds.

Every one of us, especially those who consider themselves to be sons and daughters of God will be held accountable for NOT “casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God” because they did NOT “bring into captivity EVERY THOUGHT to the OBEDIENCE of Christ” (1 Cor. 10:5).

Those who disregard God’s Word think that they will not be held accountable for any of this.

They are GRAVELY wrong.

They will not just lie in a grave or in an urn somewhere; they WILL stand before an Almighty God, His Son, Jesus Christ, AND the Holy Spirit, and give an account of the very lives we lived (Rom. 14:12; 1 Pet. 4:5).

Take the words that the Holy Spirit said here, seriously; VERY seriously.

Because there COMES a Day—SOONER than one thinks, that we ALL will be in front of Him Who is a “consuming fire” (Heb. 12:29).

“See that you refuse not Him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused Him that spake on Earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from HIM that speaks from HEAVEN: whose Voice then shook the Earth: but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not the Earth only, but also HEAVEN.”
Hebrews 12:25-27

BUT, I will leave you with this hopeful consoling thought:
The LORD is merciful (Deut. 4:31; 2 Chron. 30:9; Ps. 103:8; 116:5; 117:2; Joel 2:13)—He WILL continue to try and turn your evil hearts toward Him, even when all tribulation HELL breaks through, and hope seems to be lost.

He will continue to be there, waiting for you to “call upon the name of the Lord to be saved” (Joel 2:32; Rom. 10:13; 1Cor. 1:9; Is. 65:1; 2Pet. 1:10-11; Acts 2:38).

Allow the Word of God to be a CONSUMING FIRE In Your Life

Quote taken from The Catholic Company, “Your Morning Offering”

This is short and sweet, but as soon as I read today’s quote from the daily devotional I received in my inbox this morning, I knew I had to share it with everyone.

We, the Body of Christ = Church—NEED to have this fire kindled in our lives each and every day!

The days are coming, and actually are already here, that the people will long to hear the Word of the Lord. The enemy will do ANYTHING to keep us from hearing it by distracting us as much as possible, and also will keep us from having that relationship with the LORD God, and learning His Word.

Be a holy rebel—be the ONE that the devil hates, and allow God’s consuming fire to burn all that keeps you from getting closer to Him. Then allow Him to grow and mature you into the strong servant warrior of Christ you were meant to be!

Remember To Allow JESUS To Be Your JOY

I felt the sense of the Spirit to gather some Scriptures together about JOY, because there is so much pain and suffering in the world now, and unfortunately, it is only going to get worse.

But that is why the LORD God gave us His SON, Jesus Christ—for He IS THE WORD OF GOD. And when we spend time IN His Word, we ARE spending time with Jesus.

The Word of God is like a balm unto a wound. Let these Scripture verses remind you that “Though you have not SEEN Him, you love Him. Though you do not NOW see Him, you believe in Him and rejoice with JOY that is inexpressible and filled with glory.” 1 Peter 8-9

I pray that these verses remind you of the JOY that comes from knowing Christ as our Savior and Lord.

If you do not have the Lord Jesus in your life as yet, and desire to experience true JOY and PEACE amidst the ever worsening evils in this world, allow Him to come into your life. Invite Him in, so that He CAN show you what He has shown the rest of us—how to have PEACE, LOVE, and JOY in the midst of such trials and tribulations.

If you put your FAITH and TRUST in Him and His Word, I GUARANTEE from all that is written, that you WILL have true JOY that will overflow in your heart; only though, by having the Holy Spirit dwell IN you, and that happens by a total wholehearted surrender of yourself, to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Trust God to allow the Holy Spirit to “instruct thee and teach thee in the way which you should go” (Ps. 32:8). He’ll take care of the rest.

“Likewise, I say unto you, there is JOY in the presence of the Angels of God over ONE sinner that repenteth.” Luke 15:10

“These things have I spoken unto you, that my JOY might remain in you, and [that] your JOY might be full.” Jn. 15:11

“And ye now therefor have sorrow: But I WILL see you again, and your heart SHALL rejoice, and your JOY no man shall taketh from you.”
Jn. 16:22

“Now the God of HOPE fill you with all JOY and PEACE in believing, that ye may abound in HOPE, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” Rom. 15:13

“But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding JOY.” 1 Peter 4:13

How Much More Will Happen Before the Lord God Avenges the Innocent and Punishes the Wicked Once and For All?

I was directed to read this Psalm this morning in the picture, just as I was ready to have my breakfast.
I was told, “It is short”.
I obeyed and reached for the Latin/English Psalm book, but He said, “No, in Hebrew.”
So I sat there and started to read it out loud, first one verse in English, and then Hebrew.
It didn’t take long to figure out why the Lord wanted me to read this Psalm today, especially after reading the first two verses.
I was in tears by the time I finished praying it out loud.
Even though this was not written for the United States, it sure does fit the bill right now.
This nation has turned her back on God.

I cannot help but think about what her fate will be—it is written in Scripture as well.

Psalm 9:15-20 states, “The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken. The LORD is known by the judgment which He executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God.
For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
ARISE, O LORD, let NOT man prevail: let the heathen be judged in Thy sight.
Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to BE BUT MEN.
Selah.”

One could only hope that if the leaders of the nations—all the elites, oligarchs, money-hungry fools out there, who would rather see their nation be destroyed (that is exactly what is happening to us here in the U.S.), than turn from their wicked ways, REPENT, and turn back to God.

“Every Word of God proves true; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.” (Proverbs 30:5)

Start taking God at His Word. ALL of it WILL come to pass.
If any one individual or nation refuses to humble themselves before Him,
He WILL make Himself very well known to them.
He is a consuming Fire (2 Sam. 22:9; Ps. 97:3; Hebrews 12:29).

The Passover Lamb Who Now is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah

Today is a day celebrated by many in the Judeo-Christian world. For many of our Jewish brethren, it is Erev Pesach, the start of the Feasts of Passover and Unleavened Bread-Hag Hamatzot.
Did you know that they are two separate feasts?🙂 The Feast of Unleavened Bread starts a day after Pesach, or Passover, which technically is only one day.

For the next seven days I will eat but matzoh for my bread, as a reminder to myself of what the Israelites went through when they had to leave in such a hurry to escape from Egypt (see Ex. 12:39).

When I had a family to celebrate with, I made the entire Passover meal—it was fun to take part in it with my daughter back then.
Now, not so much, being a solitary, but I look forward to the Day when I do get to share that 4th cup of Hallel-the Cup of Praise, with our Messiah and King Yeshua/Jesus, at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb(see Rev. 19:6-9).

Jesus mentioned it to the disciples while celebrating that last Passover meal He had with them (see Matthew 26:29). He told them He would not drink of that last cup (there are four cups of wine in the Passover ritual meal), until He could drink it all with them, and us, in the Kingdom.

I wait for That Day.

Today is not only the start of these feasts, but also what we Christians call Good Friday, the day that the Lord Jesus took His cross up to Golgotha—the place of the skull—and sacrificed His life for the whole of mankind, in order to make a way back to the Father, by taking ALL of our sins, and placing them on Himself.
Isaiah 53 speaks of the prophecy of the Passover Lamb, esp verses 3-5.

Unfortunately, it seems like the whole world, except for a remnant that the LORD Himself mentioned in Scripture many times (see Micah 5:7-8), have done exactly what verse 6 in Isaiah 53:6 states: “All we like sheep have gone astray: we have turned every one to his OWN way; and the LORD hath laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all.”

Today, as you go about the day, just reflect on what the LORD God allowed His Son Jesus, to do for us. Think of the sacrifice that He made on that day—by getting flogged until flesh was torn from Him, and then, walked with His cross, and died a most horrific death by crucifixion.

He did all that for us wretched sinners, who Isaiah himself said in 64:6, “And we are all become as one unclean, and all of our justices as the rag of a menstruous woman(the Douay-Rheims translation spells it out for us!!): and we have all fallen as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

Did we deserve it? No. We should have been the ones to die upon that cross, not Him. It was a selfless act of love-eternal love, that the Triune God has for His creation, who unfortunately, barely recognize Him anymore as their Creator.

Some of you may not believe in the Messiah. Some may not care at all about Him, or what He did.
One Day, although it will be too late then to accept Him once you stand before Him in Judgment, you will finally know Who He is.

But for many, unfortunately, the Lord Jesus will become their Judge, Whom the Father assigned Him to be as such, for all of mankind (see John 5:22).

I would much rather see you all, accepting the Lord Jesus, as your Messiah and King, Lord and Savior, than your Judge (Ps. 50:6; Is. 33:22; Daniel 7:9-10; Rev. 20:11-15).

There is much left to happen in this world; many more prophecies have yet to be fulfilled. Passages in Daniel and Revelation, for example, still need to come to pass. But no matter what man or demon try to do to stop Him, the entirety of His Word will be fulfilled.

And I fear, not for myself, nor for any of my brothers and sisters who have accepted the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit into their lives—but for those of you who have yet to acknowledge Jesus as the Passover Lamb, who came to take away the sins of the world (Jn. 1:29; 1 Jn. 3:5).

For those of you who have yet wanted to realize that what Scripture says about Him-“For Christ our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed” (1 Cor. 5:7).
For the majority of mankind that would rather looks to false gods (demons) and other false teachers, than accept the Lamb who has NOW become the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (see Genesis 49:8-12; Hebrews 7:14-16, Revelation 5:5).

The Lord Jesus WILL return one day, just as He said He would, just as the Scriptures prophesied as well.
After all, He Himself IS the Word of God (Jn. 1:1-3). “The WORD was MADE FLESH and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

I pray, beloved, that on these feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, Good Friday, and Resurrection Sunday (Easter), will be the time that those of you who have yet to accept the Lord Jesus as Messiah, finally do go to Him, humble yourselves, and pray to have Him in your lives as Lord, Savior, Master, and King.

One last passage: “And I (John) saw Heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat on upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns (2 Tim. 4:8; Rev. 4:10); and He had a Name written, that no man knew, but He Himself.
And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His Name was called the WORD OF GOD” (Revelation 19:11-13)

We are NOT of the Same Mind, for we refuse to have the One and the same Spirit to Rule over us

This is a very challenging verse.
That is, a very challenging verse to many in the Body of Christ.
To many in the Body of Christ who, as many times as they have read it, neither truly understand nor adhere to what the Apostle Paul was saying here.

As a matter of fact, most of the time, they do the exact opposite.
They help the devil along by creating MORE divisions in the Body of Christ, and acting like their sect of Christianity is better than anyone else’s.

They act like schoolchildren on the playground, not allowing some to join their games because of how the others look, talk, sound, and act.
Granted, it is one thing to “test the spirits”(1Jn. 4:1-3) and a Berean (Acts 17:11), but it is entirely another thing to tear a true brother or sister in the Lord up with ugly words just because they are “different”.

The Lord loves variety, and yes, He loves UNITY among the brethren when they truly are worshipping the One and the Same Jesus—that is a must.

The early Church “got” it; those in the time of the birth of the Church (Acts) realized what was needed to be done in order to have and keep that unity while also adhering to the Word.
What happened since then?
What happened to the Body of Christ?

Satan saw that there were murmurings and divisions started, and so he took the opportunity to WIDEN the division, and voila—here we are TODAY, in the 21st century, with splits in the Church by the tens of thousands! Disgusting.

But we cannot blame it all on Satan—it is the CHURCH’S fault for not seeing what WE allowed the enemy to do, and correct it.

Bottom line— if this is not corrected by the time the Lord Jesus returns, churches of God (and I use that term loosely) who say they are in the Body of Christ—be warned once again, you WILL answer to Him as to WHY we are no longer “in one accord”.

That IS what Jesus prayed for, after all, in John 17:21, “that they all may be ONE, as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee…that the world may believe that Thou hast sent Me.”

The Holy Spirit’s guidance, teaching, leading, correction, etc. is obviously MISSING from all of this, hence the reason why for the most part, the Body of Christ has been divided as such. Why would we as the Body of Christ, the Church, be so stubborn and stiff-necked to the Very One Who Christ Himself sent and said we were to listen to, be led by and learn from (Jn. 16:13)? How can we call ourselves then, sons of the Most High God, if we refuse to be led by Him(Rom. 8:14)?

Hmmm…maybe that IS the very reason WHY the world has a problem believing in Jesus—because they no longer see the UNITY in the Body of Christ.
Something to think and pray fervently about, beloved.
