I am Truly Never Alone; my Father is With Me Always

I just finished my Master’s Degree in Biblical Languages yesterday. I should have been there for the commencement at Liberty University, but I did not want to go alone. It is also Mother’s Day weekend, so emotionally for me, it ends up being a double “whammy”. I should be thrilled and excited to want to celebrate such events, but honestly, my heart is just not in it.

This is the second time I could have celebrated a major event in my life (last time was my Bachelor’s), but because for other reasons, I did not want to go to that commencement ceremony. Nevertheless, no one in my family did or said anything to celebrate the huge achievement with me. But I did hope that there would be a special dinner out with close family to celebrate such an event. It just did not happen. I was a bit surprised, but considering at the time all that happened that previous year (2020), I let it go. I figured there was so much more other things on everyone’s mind, it just was quickly forgotten by them and life moved on.

Now this major achievement has be accomplished, and although because I put something on social media to alert others to finishing my Master’s and I did receive many a congratulations, I fear the same thing will happen again—it will be here and gone without some type of celebration. Who wants to go to a graduation commencement all by themselves anyway?

Unfortunately, I do not have a spouse; my daughter stopped all communication with me last year (end of July), at first acting like she needed time to think about what needed to be said to me on whatever it was she was upset about, but never made a concerted effort to reconcile any differences with me. So I have lost both her and my grandson (soon to be 6 years old) in one fell swoop out of my life. It’s like the breath was taken out of me when that happened.

I have and continue to reach out to her to let her know I love and miss her so much, but so far, to no avail. I have also tried to keep in touch with my other family members, letting them know they are in my thoughts with either a card or text. I’d love to even talk to them on the phone, and have repeatedly said that they can call me whenever, but my phone hardly ever rings. At this point, I’d take a text of “hello” over nothing at all. It seems like from 2020 forward, Jesus’ words, “And because lawlessness will increase, The love of many will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12, ESV), really have come to pass. And it is not just in my family that this has been happening. I have heard it from many people that they are suffering similar heartbreaks in their families as well.

This Mother’s Day will be even a sadder one for me. I do have a step-daughter (I’d rather just call her my daughter) from a previous marriage, as well as a step-son. Since I am away this weekend due to an extended family member’s celebration, I am able to see my “oldest” daughter and her family, and be with her on Mother’s Day. It wasn’t planned to happen that way, but the Lord I know, had something to do with it. He knew of my sadness and broken heart, and made sure I would not be alone this weekend. He truly shows me all the time His love and concern for me.

I also am missing my mother Rose Marcelli. She passed back in April of 1991, but any child who has lost a mother can tell you it still feels like it was yesterday when they left this world. My mom always made sure that whether it was a birthday, holiday, etc., we were celebrating something, and together, especially going on family vacations together. They were awesome times, and I have so many good memories from them. If not just our immediate family, then it was a party with many family members gathered, so we could all celebrate together. I most certainly miss those days.

Most of my family is gone; all I have left are cousins. I will be able to see some of them actually later on today, as a matter of fact. It will be wonderful to see them at a happy event, rather than a sad one (usually wakes/funerals). I can only wish that we all would make a more concerted effort to stay in touch with one another. To have family is a gift from God, and to have the time to spend together with them should not be wasted.

Although I will be around many this weekend, and I am thankful to be invited to both a family party and backyard picnic, my thoughts will be also on those who I have lost, whether they are no longer here like my mom, or those who still are here physically, but do not have any desire to share their life with me any longer, like my daughter and her family. It continues to break my heart, but even the LORD God my Father reminds me now and then, that even as He cannot force Himself into a person’s life, neither can I do the same. Our love for those people will always be there, and never go away, even though they want nothing to do with us.

Would I have liked to celebrate my achievements with my friends and family, and gather us all together like my mom would have? Yes, but it certainly is not going to happen this weekend, nor the next, or the one after that. Is someone going to throw a party for me? No—my mom’s long gone, and I seriously doubt anyone else would step in and do something like that. I’d even would have just like to go to dinner with a bunch of people who care to be in my life. That would have been nice. But one day, hopefully some time this summer, maybe I can get some friends or family together, and we can have a nice day or evening out, celebrating not just my achievements, but all our lives, and just have a good time together.

The Holy Spirit reminded me of where the Lord Jesus said, “Give, and it shall be given unto you…” (Luke 6:38). This was not just about financial giving, but giving of yourself to others, in many different ways. You really do get blessed by giving to others, whether it be your money, your time, your kindness, etc.-whatever it happens to be. Somehow, the Lord makes sure it comes back to you, and in a greater amount. The giving part of it actually puts a smile on your face, knowing you are helping others in whatever capacity it is needed. I recently had an opportunity to do that. Suddenly, you forget (even if it is just for a minute or two) about that which saddens you, as you realize you just made someone else smile, knowing that you care about them enough to help them, or let them know you were thinking about them, or included them in a conversation, celebratory event, or even invite them out for a bite to eat. Just a card in the mail does wonders for a person; a lady friend of mine has a ministry of doing just that, and most of the time throughout the year, if it wasn’t for her thinking of me over the holidays and such (even my birthday) I would not receive any cards. Amazing how the Lord puts these people in our lives, to “fill the gap” of those who were there, and no longer are, for one reason or another.

So if you are reading this, and it strikes you one way or another, let me know. If you can relate, let me know. But we who have Christ in our lives must remember, that HE will NEVER leave nor forsake us, even if others do. He will always remember us, love us, care for us, encourage us, strengthen and comfort us, even if there was no one else in our lives. The Lord truly IS the One True Friend that sticks closer to us than a brother (or sister, mother, daughter, etc.).

On this Mother’s Day weekend, let us be thankful for who we do have in our lives, and remind them that they are loved and not forgotten. For those of us whose mothers have passed, I feel your sadness, pain, and the loneliness; BUT, some of us also do have some good memories of all the years we had our mothers in our lives. Let us keep those memories alive through the pictures we have of them, and all the times we had with them. But let us also thank the LORD God, His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, to move us forward in faith, hope and love, being the example of a child of God that we can possibly be for one another, as He desired us to be, for all those who we do have in our lives, whether they are a mother, father, sister, brother, spouse, best friend, cousin, etc. Showing our love to one another does wonders to the soul.

The LORD God IS our ROCK and FORTRESS!

I do “get” what the LORD God is attempting to do—wake every single person up out of the satanic spell we’ve been under since Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate the fruit. I may not like HOW the LORD is doing it, and how much of the evil He is allowing to be infiltrated into our lives right now, but He knows that some will finally “wake up” and realize that this life here on Earth was never supposed to be all that wonderful; especially not after what happened at the Fall—of Angels, and Humans. This is a broken, evil world, and eventually, the Lord needs to destroy it.

Seriously—since then, we lost the power and ability of our higher spiritual “functions”, if you will = close relationship with God, and those of us who have accepted His Son over the last two millennia, still have struggled to live a life that would please Him. The only way to regain some of those higher functions is having a relationship with the Lord Jesus, and NOT the illegal way some others manage to “tap into” those powers. It is ONLY through Jesus Christ. Period. Any other way is satanic and demonically induced.

The rest of the human population is walking around, still under that same Satanic “spell”, and in all reality ARE “the walking dead” – spiritually. They are very OPEN (and most do not know it!) to the very LEGAL demonic doorways in their lives, and every evil entity that finds a “legal” doorway, takes it. Hence the reason why there are more and more immoral people out there, saying and doing things that we never thought in our lifetime we would see or hear, but it’s happening!!

LAWLESSNESS IS abounding, as the Lord Jesus stated (Matt. 24:12). We cannot go hide under a rock somewhere and pretend it’s not going on!! We cannot go on with our own lives, and IGNORE the truth of the amount of evil there is, because ONE day, it very may well catch up with US, or someone we love and care about (esp those who do NOT have the Lord Jesus in their lives!)!

The only ROCK we should be clinging to, is the LORD God Almighty! HE is our ROCK, our fortress, and our deliverer!! (2 Sam. 22:2-3; Ps. 18:2)! HE alone is the ROCK of our salvation (Ps. 95:1)! He is our REFUGE (Ps. 62:7). We should remind ourselves that we ARE to be that “light” (Matt. 5:14; Jn. 1:5)to all those who are in the darkness (evil)! TELL them (and let us remind ourselves as well!) that The LORD lives, and blessed be our ROCK, and exalted be the God of OUR salvation! (Ps. 18:46)

If WE do not tell them, beloved—if WE do not INFORM and WARN them now, we WILL answer to the Judge of all the Earth (Gen. 18:25) for it. IF they refuse—If they choose NOT to REPENT, and go further into the evil that is increasing every day here (and the LORD God is allowing it for a reason!!), it eventually will destroy them.

Let us do our part to continue to inform and warn everyone, and tell them that they DO have a choice—and that choice is to accept the ROCK of AGES (Is. 26:4) into their lives—Jesus Christ!! HE is the ONLY way a human being is to avoid what is soon to come upon the Earth, and also, eternal damnation and destruction.

The Most Pure and Holy Sacrifice of All

He gave His life for all of mankind, so that we would have a way back to the Father.

He knew there was no other way but to be the most pure, holy, unblemished sacrifice, to be the propitiation for our sins, in order to save us all.

THIS is what the Lord Jesus, Yeshua HaMaschiach has done for every single person that has ever lived, whether they believe in Him or not; whether they love Him, or hate Him.

THIS is the only way any human is allowed to be in the presence of the Holy, Living, Almighty God in Eternal Life.

Jesus Christ is THE only WAY, TRUTH, and LIFE; all other ways will lead to the everlasting fire.

HONOR Him today by acknowledging, remembering, and thanking Him for what the LORD God the Father permitted-to have His only begotten Son be the precious slain Lamb of God, take our place on that Cross, and become that Divine sacrifice for all of mankind.

Let the LORD be Your Refuge and Strength

It is a very rare thing for me to write a poem, but this just flowed out of me minutes ago, after reading today’s Days of Praise devotional, and the Scripture verses that went along with it. It truly is from the Holy Spirit.

When we see and hear all that is going on in the world today,
and it literally shakes us to the core,
we must keep in mind what the LORD God has said in His Word
That He is with us forevermore.

He will never leave nor forsake us,
Those who have believed on His Word,
He will strengthen, guide, and protect us
And take us Home with Him as He said.

So take heart, child of God
Your Savior sees and knows all that is going on,
And at the precise moment of the Father’s bidding,
The Bridegroom’s Bride from the world will be gone.

The LORD is our refuge and strength,
He is our Redeemer as well,
He is willing to save any and all who call upon His name
From the eternal fires of Hell.

So call upon the name of the LORD
Make your salvation in Him sure,
Because every Word of God will come to pass,
This evil will soon no longer endure.

Our Refuge
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.” (Psalm 46:1-2)

“The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble” (Psalm 9:9). What a comfort it is, in these days of turmoil and opposition, to know that our Lord is “a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat” (Isaiah 25:4).

Our refuge is strong and secure. The psalmist testifies, “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust” (Psalm 91:2). Then God answers: “Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; there shall no evil befall thee” (Psalm 91:9-10, and see also vv. 10-13).

Not only does our refuge provide safety and protection, but no other refuge will do. After identifying our refuge by the words “Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste [or be ‘alarmed’]” (Isaiah 28:16), God warns that those who refuse His true refuge will receive instead His “judgment,” for He “shall sweep away the refuge of lies” (Isaiah 28:17).

The apostle Peter, fresh from his personal encounters with his risen Lord, confronted the Jewish leaders with their serious error of rejection. “This is the stone which was set at nought of you” (Acts 4:11). In his charge, however, he included the precious truth “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (v. 12). Our refuge, our sure foundation, is none other than our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, to whom we have “fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us” (Hebrews 6:18). JDM

Servant of the Truth, and Enemy to Many

TRUTH is becoming a rare commodity.

The Lord Jesus sent the Holy Spirit, the Third Person in the Triune Godhead, to us when He ascended back to the Father.

The Holy Spirit IS “the Spirit of Truth” and Jesus Himself said “He will guide you into ALL the truth” (Jn. 16:13). He would stay here, dwelling WITHIN each and every true believer of Christ, who are the children of God, UNTIL the Father would remove Him, Who is the Restrainer (2 Thess. 2:7), just before the Time of the End.

Truth is still here. HE, the Holy Spirit, is still here, waiting for those who have yet to accept Christ into their lives, to “call upon the name of the Lord to be saved” (Rom. 10:13; Joel 2:32; Ps. 145:18; Acts 2:21; 4:12).

NOW is the acceptable time to call upon His Name, BEFORE the time of wrath and judgment to come. As it is written in 2 Cor. 6:2, “Now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

After this time, there will be only judgment. It will come to those who did not want to have anything to do with the Truth.

“Thy Word IS Truth” -John 17:17.

The only way for eternal salvation and redemption, is with the TRUTH of the Word of God, for the Lord Jesus IS the LIVING Word of God.

He IS Truth.

If you deny the TRUTH in your life, you deny Him (Matt. 10:33).

If you SEEK the TRUTH, you WILL find Him (Deut. 4:29).

I beg you, dear ones, to SEEK truth while it is still here, and able to be found. It is not in a certain building or church. It is IN His Word, because again, HE IS THE WORD. And He IS the TRUTH. You cannot separate one from the other.

The Holy Spirit of God is WILLING to make you understand as much as you can bear, but YOU must SEEK Him out. DO what His Word tells you to do, and SEEK Him, CRY OUT to Him, CALL UPON His Name.

“REPENT, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you SHALL receive the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38

God is NOT a man that He should lie (Num. 23:19). What He says, He shall do. EVERY word of God shall come to pass, until is all finished.

Seek the TRUTH now, before the whole world falls into deception of the evil ones. That time is approaching quickly.

Let Them Go, Pick Up Your Cross, and Stay the Course Until the End

If those of the world hate you, love them still.

If they have forsaken you, remember them by praying for them.

If they curse you, even to your face, do not retaliate-bless them, or say nothing and at least pray for their souls, and leave the judgment for them up to the Lord.

As much as it hurts your heart, if they choose to forsake you, let them go. Do not chase after them. Why?

Because God does not force anyone to love Him or follow Him. And if we are to follow in His ways, we are to do the same. Love them, but do not force them to love you back.

Let them go. Pray for them. Desire God’s Spirit to draw them to Himself, in order to save their souls. But do not force them to be kept in your life when they do not want to be there.

There will be much more persecution among the Lord Jesus’ followers-His Children-in the days to come, because those who are opposed to God, have their minds set on the world, and the things of this world (Rom. 8:6-8).

Those in the world who mind the things of the flesh, do not accept anyone who abides in the Spirit of God, and walks in His Way (1 Cor. 2:13-14). They are unable to understand, hence the reason there is animosity towards a believer in Christ, even if that person is their own family member.

Let the Spirit of God deal with them-all of them.
Stay the course. Let them go, but continue to love them and pray for them.
Endure to the end, for as the Lord Jesus said, “great is your reward in Heaven; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets which were before you” (Matt. 5:12).

The path to follow IS a hard Path. Be prepared TO lose much…here.

But look forward to that “inexpressible and glorious joy” that Peter spoke of (1 Peter 1:8), which is “the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls…”(1 Pet. 1:9)

Let them go. Pick up your Cross, move forward in Christ, and know that He loves them even more than you do; He will do all in His Power to convince them of His Truth. But He cannot go against His own “prime directive”—the very Free Will gift He has given every person. It ultimately will be their own choice, to accept Him or reject Him.

Now go and fulfill Deuteronomy 6:5, Eph. 6:10-18, & Ps. 27:14.

Walk in the SPIRIT

Once I knew my true birth name of “Geist”–it stunned me how the LORD God can be that precise-in everything!
I heard the Spirit of God speaking to me ever since I was a child.
The first verse I learned in 1st grade Religion class, “I have called you by name; You are Mine” (Is. 43:1) meant the world to me.
He’s always been with me; He’s never left my side.
And then, 50+ years later, I find out even more about my connection with Him.

His Name.
Geist = spirit, or ghost.
Heiligen Geist = Holy Ghost/Spirit in German.

It was fitting and made total sense, seeing that the Lord placed me on a Path that deals with Spiritual Warfare, to want to help those who are spiritually bound with demonic entities, keeping them from the peace and freedom they could have with the Lord Jesus.

Hence the reason why the Lord has directed me to go to school, to learn His Word, in the ancient languages–Hebrew, Latin, and Greek (and Aramaic this summer on my own), in order to fulfill the WALK that the Spirit of God laid for me on this Path.

And once I am done with schooling this May with my Master’s in Biblical Languages, I will begin another Master’s class for Pastoral Counseling, in order to get further education in counseling, in order to help those who are in need of spiritual breakthroughs in their lives; to help break the demonic chains that have bound them all their lives. To allow the LORD God through the Holy Spirit to set them free, in order to accept the Lord Jesus as Savior and Lord of their lives.

It really was all this time, in the name. It just had to be revealed to me, and now hopefully it is made clearer to you.
Maybe the Lord has more to reveal to you about you and your walk with Him.

Walking IN the Spirit every day of our lives, as fallible as we are, will reveal what the LORD God has always had in store for us.

I finally found out what my destiny was-to be a mouthpiece for the LORD God and His Son, Jesus, and to walk in and by the Holy Spirit, letting Him lead and guide me by faith, every day, until it is Time for me to go Home to Him.

Allow the Spirit of God to show you what YOUR Path is with Him.
WALK that walk of faith–yes, IN the dark, most likely, for “we walk by faith, and not by sight” (2 Cor. 5:7).
Remember, “Hope that is SEEN is not hope” (Rom. 8:24).
It MUST be by faith in Him, in the Spirit, and talking about it is not enough.

It MUST be a WALK.
LIVE in the SPIRIT, and WALK in the SPIRIT.

One Day…SOON.

My tears—our tears, One Day, will be wiped away by the very Hand that made this Universe.

The very One who went to the Cross for us, and made a way for us to come Home to Him.

The saints of old—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah, David, Moses, Ruth, Jeremiah, Esther, and so many others, longed to see the Day of the Messiah approach!

He, the Lord Jesus, visited them during His three days in Sheol, and on the Third Day when He was risen, He took them as His “First Fruits”-one of the Jewish Feasts that were also fulfilled by Him.
He took them Home with Him to present before the Father in Heaven.

Those who came out of their graves, and walked the streets of Jerusalem in Matthew 27:52-53 were the very ones who waited for their Messiah all those millennia, as we now wait for His Return in the clouds, to take us Home. They were witnesses of Jesus’ resurrection from the grave, as they were for their own!

One Day, beloved. One Day, it WILL happen, just as He said it would. No more tears. No more crying. No more Death. Only Eternal Life to look forward to, in Christ, with the Father, and the Ruach HaKodesh—the Holy Spirit.

One Day. Are you ready to have your tears wiped away?

It WILL happen, just as the LORD God said it would.

SOON.

How The LORD God Uses An Amazing TV Series to Bring People to His Son’s Wedding Banquet

Shalom and boker tov (good morning)everyone! I HOPE you all were able to watch Episode 8 last night!! If you haven’t, and/or have not kept up with The Chosen for Season 3–OH MY GOSH—what are you WAITING for?

It was amazing! Seriously, I always loved S1E4–that was my “all time” favorite episode, and right behind that was S1E7-Jesus and Nicodemus. Of course, as the seasons continued, it was getting harder and harder to pick favorites; every season built upon the previous, and this one, in ONE word can be describe as “INTENSE”.

There were so many things going on at one time, and many of us can relate to at least one issue within S3’s episodes. But E8–that moved into FIRST PLACE position for me! I won’t say much more, in case you have not yet seen it-or any of them, for that matter.

Some people, I understand, don’t like TV shows or movies that are not “word for word” right out of the Bible. That is okay. BUT—even John the Apostle told us at the end of his Gospel, that “There are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written” (Jn. 21:25).

There were MANY things, many situations, many “human” emotions from the disciples themselves, their families, friends, etc., that very likely went from low to high, to everything in between. They did NOT all get along all the time-that we SEE for ourselves in the Scriptures! LIFE was still going on for these people as they served the Lord Jesus during those three and a half years He ministered in the public eye. Dallas Jenkins and the other writers have done a most excellent job of character development, writing a lot of very believable “what if’s” into the scripts, showing us how 1st century people were living, what they were dealing with-especially the Jewish people. They WERE and ARE STILL, God’s people!

All I will say of the last two episodes (7-8)—what an EXCELLENT example of the Body of Christ arguing with each other over petty things that in the eyes of the Lord Jesus, did not matter! Now, those people were yet to be believers, but as I first watched those scenes with the Jews, Greeks, Phonecians, etc., the immediate word that came into my spirit FROM the Spirit was, “this is the BODY of Christ today”🙄😞🙁. All too true. We definitely need to come together and UNITE as ONE as the Lord Jesus prayed to the Father about 📖in John 17.

Many testimonies from viewers from all over the world have possibly for the first time were not only able to finally see a very real side of the Lord Jesus in His humanity being portrayed by Jonathan Roumie, but how all who were with him, both family, friend, and foe, also possibly reacted when Jesus did (or did not do, in the case of Simon and Eden via the TV show) his miracles, or preached to the masses.

My prayers from 2018 were definitely answered when I came upon The Chosen for the first time in April, 2020. Finally, there was a TV show dedicated to Christ and His followers and their family members, showing just what could have happened during that time, when THEY were called to serve Him. It wasn’t easy then, nor is it any easier now. In fact, we know as per 📖Scripture it IS going to get worse! But we are getting amazing “what if” illustrations of how it very well could have been for them all back then, WITH many obvious 📖Scripture references wrapped around those very possible scenarios that Dallas and the writers chose to address to the viewers.

I thank God my Father for answering that prayer of mine (and so many others!) to make a show like The Chosen. It has drawn people BACK to their 📖Bibles, and more importantly, to their knees, having them look up and pray, repent, and ask the LORD God for forgiveness, and accept the Lord Jesus into their lives, finally having the 🕊Holy Spirit dwell within them. THAT, my family in Christ, IS the main reason why Abba said, “YES” to that prayer. He saw how many people that would come to Him via this series. It does not have to be perfect; it has been created by imperfect people, with imperfect writers, producers, cast and crew. And, every single viewer is also imperfect!

BUT, a PERFECT God oversees it all, to ensure that people ARE coming to Christ and His Word through it; and THAT is the miracle that keeps on happening every episode and in every season that has been made so far. Baruch HaShem for His chesed-lovingkindness!

May the LORD God keep blessing The Chosen, and using it to bring more people to His Marriage Supper of the Lamb (Rev. 19:9)—that table WILL be filled, with people from every tribe, tongue, and nation, and we ALL will be able to cast down our crowns before Him (Rev. 4:10), Who is worthy to receive glory, and honor, and power (Rev. 4:11), because He has called EVERYONE to His Table. 🙏🏼✡️📖✝️✨

Are You Certain the Spirit of God Dwells in You?

REALIZE, child of the LIVING ETERNAL God, that you DO have the THIRD Member of the Triune Godhead LIVING WITHIN you, Who sees, hears, and KNOWS all that you do and say, at ALL times.

He IS the Holy Spirit, the LIVING Spirit of God—the SAME Spirit Who “was hovering over the face of the waters” in Genesis 1:1.

That could be an awesome revelation to you, or, it could be a frightening realization of just how much the LORD God knows how you have conducted your life here on Earth up until now.
